My goal as a private teacher is actually to develop in my learners a thorough understanding as well as confidence at tests and being able to tackle new cases. My approach is actually based on the concept that learning takes place in an environment of mutual respect where the student is stimulated to think and find links for themselves. According to my practical experience private lesson has a special value to students because of the option to break down the students' own barriers to learning in a way that sets the foundations for a thorough and lengthy perception of the subject matter.
Analytic thinking
My approach depends on the student's learning style and needs. My teaching ideology is built upon motivating learners to think for themselves, employing real-world situations whenever they can. |I consider that it is critical to provide students with a working skills and to exercise analytical abilities for improving upon this knowledge. Teaching anyone to think analytically is at the core of the things a student should really withdraw from any subject course.
We learn through examples
The most enduring increases a coach can make is training students, and it is a procedure, which I consider to be interesting and rewarding. From my practice, I learned the value of involving learners by means of patterns and of delivering content at a degree which implies mentality but not always knowledge, blending the known with the unknown as a synthesis that provides the child the disposition of possibility instead of that one of impossibility that official and impressive techniques can enforce.
Using a lot of practising
I start from themes the scholars are comfortable with and step progressively to more complex parts as their confidence is being raised. I use examples and questions to confirm comprehending continuously. I don't lecture to students or request them to remember things. Nor do I do the students' home tasks for them!
I constantly prioritise exam-style or last paper questions in order to confirm, practice and develop the child's comprehension and performance. I even give a lot of attention to many of the not so vital but obvious abilities for example, logical thought, essay structure and technique, and the helpful use of graphs and numbers.
